All for One Systemhaus AG was founded in 1978 as the consulting firm Härle, which initially focussed on conventional consulting services. The transition to a vertically oriented, open system software and consulting firm came a few years later, and was underscored by the change of name from "Unternehmensberatung Härle GmbH" to "All for One Systemhaus AG" in November 1998.

All for One employs around 250 staff worldwide. The head office of the company is located in Oberessendorf with regional offices in Berlin, Moers, Frankfurt, Hannover and Munich.
